I'm Maddie (she/they), a queer photographer and storyteller living in Portland, Oregon. I’ve been photographing really cool people and their beautiful lives for twelve years now.
With a background in film photography and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, I take a documentary approach with an artistic feel. I believe in preserving the true mood of each moment with rich, timeless hues and true-to-life tones.
In my personal work, I explore the physical and psychological spaces of ‘home,’ my identity as a queer person, my midwest upbringing, my chosen family, and grassroots community activism.
I am also an official LGBTQ+ Certified Vendor by Equally Wed.
